Juliette Bezold

Juliette’s life-long passion for design, especially textile and fiber arts, began in her youth at age 8, when her mother taught her to knit, and she taught herself crochet from a book.  In addition to crochet, Juliette is an accomplished seamstress whose costume designs have graced both stage and screen. When not crocheting or sewing, she works as an interior designer, specializing in healthcare design.  In her designs, Juliette’s focus is on wearable crochet - garments and accessories.  With a love of the detailed and intricate, her designs will appeal to the crocheter looking for technical interest. She has a particular passion for Tunisian crochet, especially Tunisian lace.

Flying Geese Jacket

The geese may be flying south, but you are all set for the crisp fall air with this cozy jacket. A smart two-color pattern of v’s in formation worked side to side in a lofty tweed yarn with excellent drape, works up quickly. Wear it closed with a modern leather clasp, or open for a classic shawl collar.

Flying Colors Shawl

Flying Colors is an elegant, crescent-shaped shawl whose texture is reminiscent of the feathers on a bird’s wing. With bold hues and an exceptional drape, this striking project perches perfectly on your shoulders without the use of a shawl pin.
