Hook: US size H/8 (5 mm)

The scarf is made with join-as-you-go motifs.

The first ch 2 does not count as a stitch.

Pattern

First Flower

Ch 7, sl st to first ch to join.

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 24 dc in ring, sl st to the first st to join.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, *sc in next st, ch 3, sk next 2 sts; rep from * around, sl st to first st to join.

Rnd 3: Sl st to next ch-sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in ch-sp, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch-sp; rep from * around, sl st to the first ch-3 to join.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sl st to next ch-1 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in ch-1 sp, *(3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around, sl st to ch-3 to join.

Joining Flowers

Ch 7, sl st to the first ch to join.

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 24 dc in ring, sl st to the first st to join.

Joining Rnd

Note: Flower Motif Row 1 (Flowers 2-9); Rows 2 and 3 (Flower 1) – Complete the first 6 petals, join using the last ch-1 sp. Simply insert the hook from the back to front, ch 1 and continue. This will join the petals as you go.

Flower Motif Rows 2 and 3 (Flowers 2-9) – Complete the first 4 petals, join using the last ch-1 sp. Simply insert the hook from the back to front, ch 1 and continue. This will join the petals as you go.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sl st to next ch-1 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in ch-1 sp, *(3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around, sl st to the ch-3 to join.

Fasten off.

Finishing

Block and weave in all ends.
