Winding Honeycomb Scarf

Raised stitches and a soft yarn provide warmth and texture in this cozy Winding Honeycomb Scarf. The winding stitch pattern looks much more difficult than it actually is, and the finished piece will pair effortlessly with any winter coat for classic winter style.

Size: 6” wide x 55” long (blocked)

Gauge: 18 sts = 4” [10 cm] and 4 pattern repeats = 7” in pattern after wet blocking

Hook: US size H/8 (5.0 mm) hook

Notions: Tapestry needle, pompom maker (optional)

Special Stitches

FPtrdc (Front Post Triple Double Crochet): YO twice, working in front, place hook under indicated stitch, YO, pull up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops, yo, draw through 3 loops..

Pattern Notes

This is a textured scarf worked over a 8-row repeat. The scarf is worked flat beginning and ending with ribbing created using dc around back posts and front posts.
