Finishing

Hold the ears flat and sew one bottom corner to the opposite side, pinching the ear into a leaf shape. Sew the ears and horn to the head. Stuff the neck and using the long tail, sew the neck to the head. Stuff the body through the leg holes, stuff the legs and sew to the leg holes, remembering to pick up all the stitches. Hold the tail flat and sew the open end vertically onto the end of the body. Taking the black cotton thread, sew the eyes onto the head. With CC, cut strands of yarn double the desired length of the mane and tail. Fold a strand in half and with the smaller hook, insert the hook where you want to place the strand. Pull the strand through at the fold, then pull the ends through the loop and pull secure. Use scissors to shape the hair if desired.

You can change the size of any pattern by using a smaller main hook (like an A) to shrink size or a larger one ( like E or F ) to make it bigger. On the smaller sizing the 2 yarn may seem bulky so you may want to use a sz 1, a thread or a fingerings yarn..a size 3 or even 4 yarn could be appropriate for a larger needle. Have fun!!!
