Besides my job, I use crochet to empower vulnerable young women by equipping them with basic crochet skills. After which they set up businesses to earn a living. This reduces their risks of involving in sex trade which may expose them to acquiring HIV/AIDs, STIs, and unwanted pregnancy. More so crochet skills are more cost effective as compared to other skills because its just , a hook, yarn and skills to transform a life. However in Uganda crochet skills and resources are less prominent. For this reason ,I and the girls best disserve this offer. Lets transform lives through crochet!!

Precedent to the trainings, the girls start up crochet businesses for a living which reduces their exposure to sex trade HIV/AIDs, STIs, and unwanted pregnancy. However crochet skills are less prominent in Uganda, meaning resources like books, yarn, and hooks are hard to find. Together with the girls we suit this opportunity.
