Snowberry Pillow

Size: 16” square

Gauge: 6 sts x 7 rows = 3” in sc

Materials

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool; 106 yards [97 meters]/170 grams): 099 Fisherman, 5 balls

Hook: US size M/N (9.0mm)

Notions: Tapestry needle; 18” pillow form

Special Stitches

Bobble (dc5tog in the same stitch): *Yo, insert hook in st, yo, pull up lp, yo, pull through 2 lps; rep from * 4 more times (6 lps on hook), yo, pull through all lps on hook. Note: Push bobbles to back of fabric on odd numbered rows and push bobbles to front of fabric on even numbered rows

Pattern

Make 2.

Row 1: Ch 34, sk first ch, sc in each rem ch across, turn – 33 sts.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sts, Bobble in next st, *sc in next 5 sts, Bobble in next st; rep from *to last 4 sts, sc in last 4 sts, turn.

Row 4: Rep Row 2.

Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sts, *Bobble in next st, sc in next st, Bobble in next st, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * across, turn.

Rows 6-7: Rep Rows 2-3.

Rows 8-9: Rep Row 2.

Row 10: Ch 1, sc in first 7 sts, *Bobble in next st, sc in next 5 sts; rep from * across to last 2 sts, sc in last 2 sts, turn.

Row 11: Rep Row 2.

Row 12: Ch 1, sc in first 6 sts, *Bobble in next st, sc in next st, Bobble in next st, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * across to last 3 sts, sc in last 3 sts, turn.

Row 13: Rep Row 2.

Row 14: Rep Row 10.

Row 15: Rep Row 2.

Rows 16-29: Rep Rows 2-15.

Rows 30-37: Rep Rows 2-9.

Fasten off

Assembly

Place wrong sides (inside) of each pillow pieces together, and sc evenly all the way around pillow going through both layers, working 3 sc in each corner. Add pillow form before finishing last side. Join round and finish off.

Weave in all ends.
