I love making slippers. Last year I made my husband a pair and within a week I needed to make him another pair cuz he wore them everyday, everywhere and wore holes in the bottom. I give everyone in my family slippers ever year along with home-made cookies.
Hoping to win so I can make some more hats for the Oncology Office nearest me. I am disabled and I knit for Cancer patients receiving chemo. It is my way of giving back and doing something worthwhile with my time.
My Nana made us crocheted slippers every Christmas. Not sure I appreciated them enough but am ever so thankful she taught me to CROCHET! I should have learned the slipper pattern.
