Beg at base, with 2 strands of A, ch 4, join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 8 hdc in ring; join with sl st to first hdc.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each hdc around; join with sl st to first hdc. (16 hdc)
Rnd 3: As Rnd 2. (32 hdc)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, *2 hdc in next hdc, 1 hdc in next hdc; rep from * around, join with sl st to first hdc. (48 hdc)
Rnd 5: Ch 2, 1 hdc in each hdc around; join with sl st to first hdc.
Rnd 6: Ch 2, *2 hdc in next hdc, 1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc; rep from * around, join with sl st to first hdc. (64 hdc)
Rnds 7-16: Ch 2, 1 hdc in each hdc around; join with sl st to first hdc. Break A.

Handle
With 2 strands of C, ch 7; join with sl st to form a ring, being careful not to twist.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 1 sc in each sc around; Do not join.
Working in a continuous spiral, rep last rnd until Handle from beg measures 14” [35.5 cm].
Fasten off.
