My favorite thing about crocheting for friends and family is that, even though they know you know how to crochet they still can’t believe you made such a beautiful project. I love the reaction lol.

  • When I make a gift, I focus on how special that person is to me, and try to fill the gift with my love for them. It is a wonderful meditation, which brings me the gift of peace, just as there love and friendship has also been a gift to me.

I just love the looks on their faces when they open them. The best reaction was my middle granddaughter when she got her first blankie at 3yrs, she lit up in a HUGE smile and screamed, “Meemaw, made me a rainbow!”

I love to either fill a need they have for an item or a want but best of all is seeing the look on their face and hearing all their compliments!
