Anchor Cove Shawl

A central filet panel featuring an anchor makes this shawl a subtle and effective summer shawl. Flanked by wavy white panels, the combination is a positively nautical design ready for walks on the beach or taking on the high seas.

Pattern Notes

First the anchor panel is worked in filet crochet and then each side of the shawl is built up in a filet wave pattern. To finish, the whole shawl is bordered by a few filet crochet rounds.

The anchor filet crochet chart is worked back and forth in rows. Odd numbered rows are worked from right to left and even numbered rows are worked from left to right (if right handed). Always ch 3 at the beginning of a row. This counts as the first dc. Turn after every row.

Pattern
