Juniper Wrap

Inspired by cold nights, the scent of Juniper pine trees and a warm fire in a log cabin, the Juniper Wrap is so cozy and warm, you’ll be wearing it all season. A simple, oversized rectangle, looped fringe and the moss stitch make this project one you will make again and again.

Skill Level: Beginner

Size: 20” x 70” blocked, including fringe

Gauge: 10 sts and 9 rows = 4” [10cm] in Moss stitch after blocking

Materials

Yarn: Lion Brand Scarfie (78% Acrylic, 22% Wool; 312 yards [285 meters]/150 grams): 215 Cream/Teal (2 balls)

Hook: US size N (10mm)

Notions: yarn needle, scissors

Pattern

Row 1: Ch 52, sc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across, turn. (25 sc)

Rows 2-155: Ch 2, sk first st, sc in next ch-sp, *ch 1, sk next st, sc in next ch-sp; rep from * across, turn. (25 sc)

Fringe

*Ch 10, sl st in next st; rep from * across, break yarn. Join yarn to other end of Wrap and rep from * on that end. (49 loops on each end of the wrap)

Finishing

Weave in ends.

Wet block to size.
