Lace-Trimmed Sweetheart Cards

This Valentine’s Day, make your own cards to give to your loved ones! These handmade crochet cards are prettier than anything you’ll find at the store with their delicate yarn edging, and are so easy to make.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: No size listed

Gauge: Gauge is not critical for this project

Materials

Yarn: Schachenmayr Catania (100% cotton; yards [125 meters]/50 grams): #00115 Red (A, less than 1 skein), #00106 White (B, less than 1 skein)
Hook: US size E/4 (3.5 mm) hook and US size G/6 (4.0 mm) hook
Notions: Markers, tapestry needle

Pattern Notes

Use a pencil to mark holes around the edge of your card; try to evenly space them apart. I marked every 1 cm. Use a sharp sewing needle or a hole puncher to pierce the holes.
