I have the same question as Joenilla on Dec. 25, 2021. There is an error. Do we skip 2 stitches or 4 before the shell? (The pattern needs to be edited.)

Is it possible to extend this pattern to make the shawl bigger? How do I go about doing this? It doesn’t look like a simple repeat. Hence the question. Thanks, A
