Vry helpful & useful chart for all abbreviations & spec. stitches. Hv one question: is there an abbreviation for “slip knot” – I can’t seem to find one. Many tks.
My guess is that there isn’t one for slip knot because it’s typically only used at the beginning of a pattern, or just once (as opposed to a stitch that is repeated throughout). Slip stitch, however, is SL ST. You can learn more here: https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Basics/How-to-Crochet-Slip-Stitch-Slip-Knot
My aunt taught me to crochet when I was 10 and not by reading a pattern, I learned by sight, so when I see a pattern that I like and there are no tutorial photos of certain stitches, this will definitely come in handy to help me understand what to do.
Thank you so very much. No matter how long you’ve been crocheting there are times you look at one of these abbreviations and go (what does that mean now). So, having this will be a big help no matter who we are. Many thanks.
Very helpful. Thank you so much.
