Special Stitches
Right side bead single crochet (RS bead sc): Bring thread to RS of work, insert hook in next indicated chain or stitch, slide bead up close to front of work, hold in place with thumb of left hand, bring thread to back of work and under hook, pull up lp, adjust tension of lp just made until bead lies flush against RS of work, yo, draw through both lps on hook.
Single Crochet Join (sc join): With slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up lp, yo, pull through both lps on hook.
Pattern Notes
All rows are worked from right to left on RS of bracelet, do not turn at end of rows.
Fasten off beg and ending tails of rows 1 and 3 and weave in ends at completion of row.
Do not weave in beg and ending thread tails of row 2, these are used to sew on clasps when finishing.
When joining clasps to Mama Bracelet: Strands on one end of Mama bracelet are sewn to one half of 3-lp magnetic clasp with clasp RS up and opposite strand ends are sewn to second half of magnetic clasp with WS up.

Child bracelet (Make 2)
Row 1: With A, pre-string 18 beads, make a slip knot and place on hook, ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 4 chs, using C beads, [RS bead sc (See Special Stitches) in next ch, sc in each of next 7 chs] twice, RS bead sc in next ch, sc in each of next 2 chs. Fasten off (See Pattern Notes). Do not turn (See Pattern Notes). (24 sts)
Row 2: Leaving a 10-inch beg tail (See Pattern Notes), with RS facing (see Pattern Notes), sc join (See Special Stitches) in first st, RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, [RS bead sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts, RS bead in next st, sc in next 2 sts] twice, RS bead sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in last st. Fasten off leaving a 10-inch ending tail.
Row 3: Sc join in first st, sc in each of next 4 sts, [RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 7 sts] twice, RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts. Fasten off.
Finishing: With right end of one bracelet RS facing, use sewing needle and beg thread tail to sew bracelet end to ½ of smaller magnetic clasp. With opposite end of same bracelet RS facing, use ending thread tail and needle to sew several overcast stitches around jump ring to create center accent of bracelet. Rep to join ends of 2nd bracelet in same manner to ring and rem half of magnetic clasp.
Mama Bracelet
Center Strand (Make 2)
Row 1: With A thread, pre-string 19 beads, make a slip knot and place on hook, ch 28, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 4 chs, using C beads, [RS bead sc (See Special Stitches) in next ch, sc in each of next 7 chs] twice, RS bead sc in next ch, sc in each of next 5 chs. Fasten off (See Pattern Notes). Do not turn (See Pattern Notes). (27 sts)
Row 2: Leaving a 10-inch beg tail (See Pattern Notes), with RS facing (see Pattern Notes), sc join (See Special Stitches) in first st, [RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, RS bead sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts] 3 times, RS bead sc in next st, sc in last st, fasten off leaving a 10-inch ending tail (See Pattern Notes).
Row 3: With RS facing, sc join in first st, sc in each of next 4 sts, [RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 7 sts] twice, RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts. Fasten off.
Criss-Cross Strands (Make 2)

Row 2: Leaving a 10-inch thread tail, with RS facing, sc join in first sc, sc in next st, [RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts] twice, * RS bead sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts, RS bead sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * 5 times, RS bead sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts, **RS bead in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from ** once, fasten off leaving a 10-inch thread tail, do not turn.

Finishing
Block Mama Center Strand to 2 5/8 inches long and Criss-Cross Strands to 7 inches long.
Block Child strands to 2 3/8 inches long.
Mama Bracelet
With one Center Strand and one half of 3-lp magnetic clasp RS up (see Pattern Notes) on a flat surface, use sewing needle to sew ending thread tail to center lp of clasp. Use beg thread tail to sew opposite end of same strand to larger ring using several overcast stitches. With rem half of 3-lp clasp WS up and 2nd Center Strand RS up on a flat surface, sew ending tail of center lp of clasp. Use beg thread tails to sew opposite end of same strand to opposite side edge of same center ring using several overcast stitches.
With right end of Bracelet RS facing on a flat surface, sew thread tail of one Criss-Cross Strand to top lp of 3-lp magnetic clasp. Weave opposite end of same strand over right side edge of center ring just above attached Center Strand and under opposite left side edge of ring, use thread tail to sew strand end to bottom lp of 3-lp clasp. With left end of Bracelet RS facing on a flat surface, sew thread tail of 2nd Criss-Cross strand to top lp of 3-lp magnetic clasp, weave opposite end of same strand over left side edge of center ring just above attached Center Strand and under opposite left side edge of ring, use thread tail to sew to strand end to bottom lp of 3-lp clasp.
With Bracelet WS facing on a flat surface, use a 12” length of thread to tack Criss-Cross strands to either side of Center Strand.
Child Bracelet
Use beg tail to sew each “one bead” end of Center strand to one half of magnetic clasp. Use ending tail to sew opposite ends of Center Strand to either side of smaller center ring.
