Hair

To make hair, cut strands of yarn about 18 inches long. Hook yarn with your crochet hook in the middle of the 18 inch strands and under a stitch on the top of the head (one at a time). Pull through. Now grab the ends of the yarn (you should have 6 strands because your yarn is now halved) and pull through the loop. Pull tight. Trim yarn after you have covered the top of head.
Braid and trim hair if desired.

Sew head to top of the body.

SC along sides and top if wing (not along bottom ridges).
Fasten off leaving tail to sew onto back of body.

Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 5 SC in ring, join to first SC, chain 1

Switch to white yarn
Round 5-8: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (10 SC)

Round 9: SC Decrease, SC in next 3, join, chain 1

Round 10-11: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (8 SC)

Round 12: SC Decrease, SC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 1

Round 13-14: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (6 SC)

Fasten off leaving long tail to stitch arms onto either side of body right where the head meets the body.

How did you do the hair? the utube is gone. How many 18 inch strands do you start with? They say halved is 6 strands – but it has to be way more than 3 18 inch stands. Help please

Crocheted this angel, but she doesn’t stand up straight. I removed the fiberfil and I’m trying to think of what I can put in the bottom to weigh the bottom down so she will stand up. Suggestions?

I use regular marbles or the flat glass drops from the dollar store! Five or six helps give some weight so your project doesn’t tip over.

In round 5 when you join at the end of the round do you go through the back loop only there also or both loops?
