Fabric Skirt

Fold Fabric in half. Cut Fabric 30 (32, 34)” wide and 14 (15, 16)” long.

Sew along the length on both edges of fabric and finish the raw edges.

Fold bottom edge of skirt twice and sew with ¼” hem.

Mark center of skirt and gather the top of the fabric evenly on both sides using sewing machine or by hand with running stitches.

Match the width of the crochet yoke with the gathered fabric.

Sewing the crochet yoke to the fabric bodice

Turn the crochet yoke and fabric bodice with WS out. Pin the fabric to the crochet yoke around the starting chain of the yoke, at the start of the bottom edging; making sure it is evenly gathered around.

Hand sew the yoke in place. Top stitch with sewing machine if desired on RS of yoke along the starting chain of yoke.

This dress pattern is adorable. I’m making size 24 months my 2 year old grand daughter. Ran into a little problem. I’m short on the stitches as I move onto the back – everything worked perfect to that point. I went ahead and did the front to be sure but the left is short one set of shell (I have 6 and 7 are required). Suggestions? I don’t want to restart.

Hi Linda! Unfortunately, we do not sell completed items of the patterns on our website. Hopefully you can find someone who would like to crochet this for you if you do not wish to make it yourself. Have a great day! – Nicola
