Notions: Tapestry needle, sewing needle and thread, small scrap of leather (1” x 2”), leather punch
Camel Half Double Crochet (chdc)
Yo, insert hook into the 3rd lp (this is directly below the top lp), yo, pull back through st, yo, pull through all 3 lps.
This pattern is worked in rows and seamed together.
The ch 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a st.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in every ch across, ch 1, turn. (36 sts)
Row 2: Hdc in first 26 sts, chdc in the last 10 sts, ch 1, turn. (36 sts)
Row 3: Hdc in first 10 sts, hdc in the last 26 sts, ch 1, turn. (36 sts)
Rows 4–55: Rep Rows 2-3.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Seam the two sides together to form a tube and cinch the top closed.
