Block each block to 7” square, or desired size. Arrange blocks as shown in chart. Whip stitch blocks together (or use desired method).

Border

Due to the nature of the way this border is worked, this portion is written as sections (Sec). Work each Section for all four colors before working on the next section. Sections are worked continuously without joining. When switching between colors remove hook and place lp on holder to prevent work from unraveling.

With each color as indicated on chart, join yarn with sl st in ch-3 sp at corner of afghan.
Sec 1: Ch 1, * 3 sc in next ch-3 sp, sc in each st across to next ch-3 sp, rep from * across to next corner.
Sec 2: (Sc, hdc, sc) in next sc, sc across to next hdc.
Rep Sec 2 two more times. With each color sl st in next hdc. Fasten off.

Finishing

Weave in all ends using yarn needle.
