Tassel: Ch 9, shell in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in base of shell, ch 5.
Each ch-1 counts as 1 st.
Change color on last yarn over of last stitch of row as indicated.
When working the border on the long edges, adjust the number of stitches worked into the end of each row if necessary to prevent the edge from puckering or rippling.
