I love this Cowl—it’s beautiful! However, I had in mind a Lion Brand 100% wool yarn, which I believe is thicker. I wonder how many yards it would take to make the largest Cowl. I’m open to any advice you could offer. What would you do?
Hi there! Are you looking at Local Grown Yarn by Lion Brand? That’s another weight 4 yarn, so the yardage should be similar to what the pattern states! If you have a local store where it’s easy to make both purchases and returns, I’d suggest buying an extra skein so you can return any extra later if you need to. However, if the yarn is the same weight as what the pattern calls for, aka weight 4, the yardage should be similar. I hope that helps! Warmly, Dana, Editor
This is pretty.
Very lovely
