Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked back and forth in rows using the tapestry crochet technique.
2 panels are made and then crocheted together around a pillow form.
Each panel is the same, just invert the colors for the second panel.
Each color is carried throughout the pattern under the active yarn stitches.
Pattern
With MC, ch 40.
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across. (39 sc)
Rows 2-8: Ch 1, turn, sc in each across. (39 sc)
Rows 9-24: Ch 1, turn, sc across by following the chart and changing colors when indicated.
Rows 25-32: With MC, ch 1, turn, sc in each across. (39 sc)
Fasten off.
Make a second panel by inverting the colors.
Border
With wrong sides together and panel 1 facing you, attach CC to top right corner of both panels, ch 1, sc evenly around 3 sides, placing 3 sc in each corner, insert pillow form, sc evenly along last side, join.
Finishing
Fasten off and weave in ends.
