Pattern Notes

Pattern is worked in pieces (front, back, collar, sleeves) and then assembled. Front and back body panels are worked sideways rather than from the top down or the bottom up. Starting ch does not count as a stitch. The use of invisible decreases is recommended, but you may use decrease as normal. Stitch counts given at the end of the row include ch spaces.

Finishing

Pieces may either be hand sewn or crocheted together using sl st. At this point, you will need to decide which side of the panels will be your right side. Seam the body panels right sides together along the shoulder from the top corners of the body panels to where the V-neck starts. Then, attach one collar to the body starting at the bottom of one V-neck and ending at the bottom of the other panel’s V-neck. Repeat for the other collar on the opposite side of the neckline. Sew the ends of the two collar pieces together where they overlap in the middle of each panel. Then, seam the sides of the body panels together leaving 40 (43, 46, 49) (52, 56, 58) sts open at the top for the sleeves. Turn the top right side out so that all the seams are hidden inside. Finally, attach the sleeves at the openings on either side and seam the two ends of the sleeve together using single crochet stitches to create raised seams.
