Lisa Briggs learned to crochet as a child on her family’s farm in Pennsylvania, sitting beside her mother with a skein of yarn and a lot of curiosity. Though the hooks were set aside for decades in favor of other hobbies, the seed had been planted.
Fast forward thirty years, and while unpacking from yet another move, Lisa stumbled across a long-lost set of crochet hooks tangled up with her tablet weaving supplies. One skein, one stitch, and one very long “quick break” later—she was completely hooked.
Since 2021, Lisa has been designing her own crochet patterns, blending practicality with playfulness and always striving for designs that are beautiful, wearable, and just plain fun to make. Crochet has become her creative lifeline—portable, calming, and perfect for business trips, travel, or just winding down after a long day.
When she's not crocheting, Lisa can be found weaving (tablet or inkle), spinning, or sewing up her next idea. Lisa is married to her best friend, has four talented bonus children (one of which joins in on her crochet adventures) and two furbabies. That childhood seed of creativity? It’s in full bloom now and passed on to the next generation.
