Does anyone have an idea on how to go about sizing these up to larger sizes?

For the sole, round 1: after the 5 hdc in the last ch; it says “you are now going to be working on the opposite side of the foundation chain.” Does this mean I need to turn it over before I begin the 1 hdc in the next 8 stitches?
