Cut yarn and weave in all ends.

Straps (make 4: 2 bust and 2 shoulders)

With RS facing, start in one side of one pentagon (see schematic)

Row 1: With CC3; ch 2 in ch-2 sp *skip 1 sc, 1 sc, ch 1; rep from * 4 more times, sc in ch-2 sp. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, MS until last st, sc. Turn

Rows 3-4: With CC2, rep Row 2.

Rows 5-6: With CC1, rep Row 2

Bust (make 2)

Rep Rows 3-6 another 13 times

Shoulder (make 2)

Rep Rows 3-6 another 15 times

Try on before cutting yarn to assure a good fit with your top, and add or take out rows as needed.

Cut yarn and weave in all ends.

Assembly

With RS facing and the tapestry needle, sew straps with CC2 to the other pentagon. Weave in all ends.

Blocking/ironing is optional, but I recommend it for a better finishing.

With the sewing needle and thread that matches the top, sew the crochet piece around the inside upper edge of the top.
