Pattern Notes

This pattern is worked in rows.

Pattern

Row 1: Fdc 160, turn – 160 dc.

Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, work a FPtr around first 2 dc, *sk next 2 dc, FPtr around next 2 dc, FPtr around skipped 2 dc; rep from * across, FPtr around last 2 dc, turn – 160 sts.
Row 3 (WS): Ch 1, *sk next 2 dc, BPtr around next 2 sts, BPtr around skipped 2 sts; rep from * across, turn – 160 sts.

Note: When working Row 3, place 2 stitch markers in the first 2 sts of this row. This will help you find these stitches when working your next row. These stitches can hide and be easily missed.

Row 4: Ch 1, work a FPtr around first 2 sts, *sk next 2 sts, FPtr around next 2 sts, FPtr around skipped 2 sts; rep from *across, FPtr around last 2 st, turn – 160 sts.
Rep Rows 3-4 until Throw meas approx. 60” long, ending on a Row 3.

Note: You can make your throw longer if desired. Make sure you end on a Row 3, then continue to last row.

Last Row: Ch 1, FPdc around first dc and each st across – 160 sts.

Fasten off.

Finishing

Weave in all loose ends.

The ends of the throw may want to curl slightly, so a gentle steam block is recommended.
