Pattern Notes

Triangle is worked in one single piece, starting at the top from the middle.

At the beginning of each row, one stitch is added by working a stitch into the first stitch of the row where it meets the bottom of the turning chain.

At the end of each row, increase one stitch by working twice into the last stitch of the row.

To maximize the size, work until only 3″ of a color remains then add new yarn. Prototype was crocheted and pattern written such that all color transitions remain along one of the selvedge edges.

The nature of the stitches used creates a two-sided project with no “right” or “wrong” side per se.

Colors as described as Color 1-4 are C1 – White, C2 – lighter of the two mixed white and solid skeins, C3 – darker of the two mixed white and solid skeins, C4 – Solid Color

Turn work at end of each row.

Because not all clothes washers maintain the same temperature throughout the wash load, a Shout Color Catcher is used to ensure colors do not run when laundering your finished shawl.

This pattern was developed to compliment the exceptionally soft and slick hand of Baby yarn, substitutions should be carefully considered as they may not yield the same results.
