Assembly
Fold the body of the bow tie in half, and sew together along the short sides using tapestry needle. Position the seam in the middle of the back side. Pinch the bow tie along the center and wrap the Center Band around the middle of the bow tie and set the ends together in the back.
Finishing
If using an existing bow tie with an adjustable band, cut along the hook end of the band to remove the band from the bow tie. Place the new bow tie onto the band, and thread through the hook, securing along the end by hand or sewing machine.
If using a ribbon, cut to desired length + 1”. Thread the bow tie onto the ribbon, fold ends of the ribbon twice to conceal the raw edges. Sew the hook & loop closure along the edges.
