Strawberry Cream Cardigan

Perfect for a spring or summer day, this trim, cropped cardigan is crocheted in a soft cotton-blend yarn, and has just a touch of faux Fair Isle stitching for an extra splash of color.

Block each piece to measurements shown on schematics.
Sew Fronts to Back at shoulders.
Sew side seams.
Sew sleeve/underarm seam.
Pin sleeves into armhole opening and sew into place.

Button/Buttonhole Bands

Row 1: With RS facing and MC, work 37 (37, 41, 41, 45) sc evenly spaced along Right Front edge, 3 sc in corner, 92 (98, 104, 108, 114) sc evenly spaced along neckline to next corner, 3 sc in corner, 38 (38, 42, 42, 46) sc evenly spaced along Left Front. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in first sc and ch-1 sp, *ch 1, sk 1 sc, sc in next sc. Rep from * all the way around front opening, making sure to put 3 sc in each of the two corner sts. Change to CC, ch 1, turn.
