Powder Polar Bear Pocket Scarf

This sweet scarf is just the right layer when it’s time for kids to bundle up against the cold. It’s made using rows of double crochet, then crocheting polar bear faces in the round, with extra rows of double crochet attached to the backs of the polar bear faces to form pockets.

Pattern Notes

When working with a fluffy, thick yarn like Bernat Pipsqueak, it is helpful to feel your stitches when you can’t see them well. You can count your stitches by feeling the stitch posts in each row.

The pieces of the bear faces are worked in continuous rounds. Use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round to keep your place.
