Dana Rebmann

Dana Rebmann and her twin sister, Deborah Bagley, co-founded www.yarnovations.com in 2012 creating realistic, quirky, and fun crochet, knit and sewing patterns. From 2015-2017 she worked at Interweave helping produce Interweave Crochet magazine and Love of Crochet magazine.

Prior to crochet, Dana was a card maker and paper crafter. That 20-year love affair with stamping was dropped like a stone when her twin sister introduced her to amigurumi.

When not crocheting, Dana loves to mountain bike and read snarky, fast-paced, well-written fiction.

Simple Sparkles Lace Scarf Crochet Pattern

Add a bit of dazzle to your wardrobe with the Simple Sparkles Lace Scarf, a quick and easy project that combines simplicity with elegance. This one-skein wonder is made using only three basic stitches, yet the result is a striking, textured design that features a beautiful double diamond pattern. The inclusion of sparkly yarn adds an eye-catching shimmer, turning a simple accessory into a standout piece.

Pastel Dreams Babyghan

Use up those colored scraps with one of the very first weaving techniques we learn as children – braids! The six strands in each braid are knotted at the ends while extended single crochet stitches around the braided yarn lock the bright colors to the blanket and create a faux spike stitch that fuses the colors together seamlessly.

Scotty Lapghan

This rich and bold lapghan is surprisingly easy to make and is a great project to work on while on the go. The beautiful texture created with alternating stitches in the squares sets off the striping that’s layered on top while the simple clean lines in the edging focus the attention on the vibrant colors in the plaid.
