Pia Thadani

Pia Thadani owns and authors a blog at StitchesNScraps.com. Her blog is about knitting, crochet, and scrapbooking, but lately, her main focus has been crochet.

Pia has been crocheting as long as she can remember, and right from the beginning, she has never liked to follow a pattern exactly as written. She always had to put her own spin on it. Pia likes to work on all different types of patterns and to experiment with new stitches, textures, and techniques. In 2013, she discovered her passion for designing and writing her own crochet patterns, and has been doing so ever since!

Two-Step Tunisian Bag

Cosmetics, toiletries, works in progress, carry it all in this cute cosmetic bag. Featuring a flat bottom, tapered sides, and zipper closure, this bag makes the ideal accessory, whether you’re on the go or just in need of storage. Tunisian stitches mix seamlessly with traditional crochet to create a unique, basketweave texture. Plus, with a maximum of seven loops on the hook at any time, you don’t even need a Tunisian hook to make it!
