Front

Start with one of the colors mentioned under Color Sequence Colors A.

Ch 72, turn.

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped 3 dc count as first dc), dc in every ch to end of row, change to Color Sequence Color B. (70 sts)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in every dc to end of row, change to next color in Color Sequence for Color A. (70 sts)

Row 3: Ch 3 (count as first dc), skip the first st, dc in every st to end of row, change to Color Sequence Color B. (70 sts)

Rep Rows 1-2 until there are 29 rows in Color B. Don’t change color at the end of the 29th row. Fasten off.

Back

Make same as Front, but don’t fasten off at the end of the 29th row. Instead, change to Color B. Place both halves on top of each other with the right sides facing inside.

You will now attach both halves to one another by crocheting through the stitches of both the Back and Front.

The first row is the top of the pillow cover, the second row is the side, the third is the bottom, the fourth is the other side.

Row 1 (top): Ch 1, turn, sc in every dc. (70 sts)

Row 2 (first side): Ch 1, turn the pillow cover, work 3 sc around all dc of the side.

Row 3 (bottom): Ch 1, turn, sc in the corner st, sc in between every dc, sc in the corner st.

Row 4 (other side): Ch 1, turn the pillow cover, work 3 sc around all dc of the side. When you’re halfway, turn the cover inside out and place the pillow form inside the cover before closing the cover. Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.

Finishing

Sew the cover close by pulling the yarn three times around all dc of the side. Fasten off.
