Pattern is written for two colorways. There is enough yarn to make two scarves.
Popcorn: (Yo, insert hook, draw up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps) 5 times, yo, draw through all lps on hook.
Row 1: With A (C), ch 135, dc in 4th ch from hook and every ch across. (133 dc)
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in next 4 dc, *ch 1, sk next dc, Popcorn in next dc, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next 5 dc; rep from * across.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, sk first dc, dc in every dc, ch-1 sp, Popcorn across. Fasten off A (C). (133 dc)
Row 4: Attach B (E) with RS facing with ch 3 in first dc (counts as first dc), sk first dc, dc in every dc across. (133 dc)
Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in next 4 dc, *ch 1, sk next dc, Popcorn in next dc, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next 5 dc; rep from * across.
Row 6: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, sk first dc, dc in every dc, ch-1 sp, Popcorn across. Fasten off B (E). (133 dc)
Rows 7-9: Using C (A), rep Rows 4-6.
Rows 10-12: Using D (D), rep Rows 4-6.
Rows 13-15: Using E (B), rep Rows 4-6.
Tassel (make 2 in each color)
Cut four 8” pieces of each color for top and tie strands. Set aside.
Wind yarn around cardboard 15 times. Catch at one end with a top strand. Tie tightly at this end. Slip off cardboard. Tie strand of yarn around tassel about 1” down from top.
Weave in the loose ends from this into center of tassel.
Cut bottom of tassel so yarn is no longer looped. Trim ends evenly.
Sew a tassel on each end of scarf, coordinating tassel to stripe, using photo as a guide.
Weave in any remaining ends.
