Plum Harvest Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves are a classic fall accessory. Take these eye-catching gloves along on your next trip to the apple orchard.

Size: One size fits most: to fit 8″ hand, measured around the palm, just above the thumb; 8¼” long

Gauge: 8 shells and 15 rows measure 4″ x 4″ approx

Materials

Yarn: Stylecraft Life DK (75% acrylic, 25% wool; 326 yards [298 meters]/100 grams): #2310 Claret (1 ball)
Hooks: US size 7 (4.5 mm) and US size G/6 (4.0 mm) hooks, or sizes needed to obtain gauge
Notions: 5 stitch markers or safety pins, tapestry needle

Special Stitches

Shell: [1 sc, 2 ch, 1sc] in same place.
Shell in Shell: Work 1 shell in ch 2 space of shell of previous round.

Pattern Notes

The gloves are worked in the round and turned at the end of each round.
Ch 2 at the start of the round counts as a stitch.
The gloves are worked from the wrist up and the cuffs are worked from the wrist down.
