Cherry Blossoms Stole

This lovely stole features a dainty floral lace pattern, perfect to dress up any outfit. Wear it as a shoulder wrap to show off the full stunning flower pattern, or as a simple lacy scarf. Special Stitches

Foundation Single Crochet (Fsc): Make a slip knot and place onto hook, ch 2, insert hook into both lps of the second ch from hook, yo and draw through, ch 1, yo and draw through both lps on hook, *insert hook in ch part of previous st, yo and draw through, ch 1, yo and draw through both lps on hook; rep from *.
Puff Stitch (Ps): (yo, insert hook in indicated sp, yo, pull lp through, yo, pull through first 2 lps on hook) 3 times, yo, pull through all 4 lp’s on hook. 

Pattern Notes

The stole has a rectangle shape and is worked in one piece, starting at the shorter edge with a row of foundation single crochet. Next the body of the stole is worked in the lace flower pattern. Once the stole has the desired length, a row of single crochet is worked at the top edge as well as on both long sides of the stole. The piece is finished with a dainty picot edge around.

Border

Turn piece sideways and sc along the long side of the work. Approx. 7 sts per rep of the body pattern. Break yarn.
Sc along the other long side of the work. Ch 1, turn, 5 sc, *ch 3, sl st into first ch made, 5 sc; rep from * around, working 3 sts as established in each corner of the stole, join with sl st to close round. Break yarn.

Finishing

Weave in loose ends and wet block stole.
